Teachers

I make science materials for teachers. Most recently I created a science comic, and I have received an amazing response from hundreds of teachers internationally! I’m now trying to share this comic as far and wide as possible, to allow kids from all backgrounds to experience the life of a scientist. Would you like to use this comic in your classroom?

Download the eDNA cartoon for free below. There’s also a free worksheet to compliment the cartoon, and an eDNA lesson plan in my blog. Please consider filling out my feedback to help me with creating useful content in the future.

Would you like to teach school students about eDNA metabarcoding in a way that goes beyond the usual explanation of just “what is eDNA”? Check out my lesson plan and activity below for a 2-hour session that works great with high school learners. I was interested in teaching 16-year-old students about eDNA sampling, eDNA extractions,…

A GLOBAL REACH

I have connected with teachers from all over the world, and the science comic has now spread from Africa into the USA, Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia and even South America! The comic is available in English, Afrikaans, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian, with more languages coming soon (Creole, Swahili…). Let me know if you have a language request, and I’ll have the comic translated for you!

Watch the community grow on our map of participating classrooms below. If you don’t see your region represented on there, download the comic and help spread the word!

Let’s build a global reach together.
